Kicks 101.5 FM and Eagle 106.7 FM are challenging each other in softball this Sunday in hopes to raise money for Fayette Field of Hope. The "Country Clash" is a charity softball game, scheduled to take place at the Peachtree City Baseball/Soccer complex on Ga. Highway 74 South at 2 p.m. The game wil be followed by a concert by Pinmonkey and Andy Griggs. Admission to the event is $10 per carload and all proceeds will benefit Fayette Field of Hope. Fayette Field of Hope was formed for all mentally and physically challenged children up to 18 years old. It gives these childen the opportunity to play baseball in its purest form. No score is kept and everyone as a turn at bat, on the bases and in the outfield. Each player is teamed up with an able-bodied buddy to assist him or her during the game. Plans are to build the Fayette Field of Hope in Peachtree City. The cost of the project is estimated at $600,000 and events like the "Country Clash" along with donations will help achieve that goal.
