Seniors can get tax answers

Fulton County seniors who received property assessment notices recently can get answers to their questions at two county senior service centers July 22-26.

County Tax Assessors staff members will explain the assessment process and options for appeal at the following locations from 2 p.m.-6 p.m.

Harriett G. Darnell Senior Multipurpose Facility, 677 Fairburn Road, NW, Atlanta ­ Monday, July 22; Wednesday, July 24 and Friday, July 26.

Dogwood Neighborhood Senior Center, 1953 Bankhead Highway, Atlanta; Tuesday, July 23 and Thursday, July 25.

Seniors are asked to bring their tax assessment notices.

The sessions are sponsored by the Fulton County Tax Assessors Office and the Human Services Department's Office of Aging.
