Success of SummerGrove townhomes prompts addition of new builder

Pathway Communities, the developer of SummerGrove, is pleased to announce the addition of another builder to its townhome project at the community.

Homeland Communities will build upscale townhomes priced from the high $140's. The townhomes border 100-acre Lake SummerGrove and the newly-unveiled water park at SummerGrove. Floor plans will include both ranch and two-story units ranging from 1,450 to 1,720 square feet. Many townhomes will have three bedrooms and attached, two-car garages and will feature daylight basements, garden courtyards and lake views.

Dan Camp, senior vice president and general manager of Pathway Communities, believes the addition of Homeland Communities will create an even stronger presence for SummerGrove in the Atlanta area market.

"Many people are looking for a low-maintenance lifestyle in an amenity-loaded setting, and the townhomes at SummerGrove provide that product to a relatively untapped market," says Camp.

SummerGrove's amenity package plays an important role in distinguishing the community from other Atlanta-area neighborhoods. SummerGrove has an 18-hole, Golf Digest-ranked golf course, a 100-acre private lake, over five miles of pedestrian paths and sidewalks, two water venues including a competition-size swimming pool, water mushroom, a lazy river and clubhouse, tennis complex and a variety of tot lots and neighborhood playground.

SummerGrove also offers a unique technology program for every home. The program includes structured wiring, the potential for ultra-fast Internet access and an exclusive community Intranet built specially for the residents of SummerGrove.

SummerGrove's uniqueness spans more than amenities and technology. SummerGrove is the only Atlanta-area master-planned community with 13 decorated models. Home styles in SummerGrove range from traditional to turn-of-the-century to custom and are priced from the mid $100s to over $700,000.

To visit SummerGrove from Atlanta, take I-85 South to Exit 47 (Newnan). Go left on Hwy. 34 one mile, and turn right on Shenandoah Blvd. SummerGrove is located at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd. The Information Center is open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m and Sunday 1-6 p.m. For more information, call 770-252-9000, or visit www.summergrove.com.
