Local students on dean's list at LaGrange College

LaGrange College has released its spring semester dean's list.

The following Fayetteville students were named: Clarinda Phillips, daughter of David and Michelle Phillips; Aimee Baldwin, daughter of Dale and Eileen Baldwin; and Melissa Koher, daughter of Brian and Christine Koher.

Students who maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.6 while taking a minimum course load of 12 hours are eligible for this honor.

A four-year liberal arts and sciences college affiliated with the United methodist Church, LaGrange College is ranked in the top ten and as the 7th "best value" among 103 southern comprehensive colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The college is the oldest private institution of higher learning in Georgia and has an enrollment of about 1,000 students.
