PTC Rotary schedules 'Meet the candidate' By JOHN MUNFORD jmunford@TheCitizenNews.com Local voters wanting to learn more about candidates for local county commission, state senate and state house races should mark their calendars for Tuesday, July 23. That's when the Rotary Club of Peachtree City will host a "Meet and Greet the Candidates" forum at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center from 7-9 p.m. All the candidates for the various races have been invited to attend the event, according to organizers. The event is being held before the Aug. 20 primary to help educate voters on prospective candidates, organizers said. The public is invited and urged to attend the event.
