Local residents earn honors at Oxford College Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University located in Oxford, Georgia, has released it's honor and merit lists for the 2002 Spring Semester. Local residents named to the honor list (cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher) are: Christine Charaf, Peachtree City, daughter of Anthony Naim and Samira Charaf of Peachtree City. Yosuke Nomura, Peachtree City, son of Mitsuhiro and Noviko Nomura. Local residents named to the merit list (cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher)are: Megan Hamilton, Peachtree City, daughter of Dr. Carol Deline Hamilton.
