Christian author to sign new novel on Saturday

Best selling Christian author and 2000 Christy Award nominee, Roert Whitlow, will be signing his new novel, "The Sacrifice" at Olive Branch Christian Bookstore at 2 p.m. and Sonrise Christian Bookstore at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 15.

A private attorney from Georgia, Robert Whitlow moved to Charlotte, N.C. and downsized his practice in 1996 so he could focus on writing. His first two titles have sold more than 58,000 units and his second title, "The trial,' spent 16 weeks on the Christian Booksellers Association Bestseller List.

In "The Sacrifice," Robert Whitlow follows Scott Ellis' first noteworthy criminal case. At the same time Ellis struggles to ascertain the guilt or innocence of his undeniably racist client, he volunteers to teach the mock team of the local high school. He is swept into a developing vortex of destruction as a troubled team member meditates a massive act of school violence. But even amidst the swirling current of darkness, a light still shines as a dedicated group of Christian students move heaven with their prayers for power and protection.

Lives hang in the balance as Ellis gets closer to the truth behind the lies of these two disturbed individuals. Will the light be conquered by the threatening darkness? Or will the sacrifice of one humble believer be enough to overcome the impending doom? With a keen understanding of the human condition, Whitlow keep readers guessing until the final page.
