DeCosta speaking at Chamber forum Ben DeCosta, the general manager of Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport, will be the featured speaker at the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce's June "Business Forum" at the Georgia International Convention Center. The event is June 13 with registration and networking at 7:30 a.m. and the breakfast/program to begin at 8 a.m. DeCosta is overseeing one of this country's largest public works projects in the $5.4 billion dollar expansion of Hartsfield and the process is fascinating, especially to those businesses in the South Fulton and south metro region. Will the newly expanded facility result in increased efficiency at the world's busiest airport? If so, will that translate into increased business opportunities to local businesses, both large and small? Anticipation of increased prosperity is already being discussed as the new bigger and better Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) will be opening in 2003 and area hotels and restaurants are getting ready. The super-sized Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport is expected to greatly enhance this amenity. Please plan to join the South Fulton Chamber at the Business Forum on June 13. Call 770-964-1984 to make your reservation today. Please call early as a capacity crowd is expected.
