RVI Students and School Honored at State Conference Two students from McIntosh High School earned top placements at the Related Vocational Instruction (RVI) state conference. Jason Schulz and Sarah Stoman both placed third in auto tech and graphic arts, respectively. Additionally, Ben Ruberg and John Malinofsky were awarded fourth place for their construction group project and David Ferguson placed fourth in the individual construction category. Not only did the students perform well at the conference, but the school also was honored as the Most Outstanding School Project with an excellent rating for the entire state. RVI is a state organization designed to help members develop leadership abilities through participating in career-related activities. The theme for this year's state conference was "RVI Experience the Difference." RVI coordinators and tech prep teachers nominated students for participation at the conference. In addition to competing against over 800 RVI students from throughout Georgia, participants took part in a number of enrichment activities, leadership seminars, competitive events and other varied activities that provide memorable experiences for students. The Georgia RVI conference was held at Epworth by the Sea on St. Simon's Island.
