The Peachtree City Running Club will conduct their annual summer track series. The series will take place at the Peachtree City track adjacent to Peachtree City Elementary School on Wisdom Road every Tuesday evening starting June 4. Registration for events begins at 6 p.m. and the first race starts at 6:30 p.m. The series is open to all runners of all ages and abilities. There are no field events.

"This is great fun for the whole family as well as a good way to get in some exercise," said event director Roy Robison. "It is very low key with no pressure. The emphasis is on having a good time."

The summer track series is free to participants and spectators. There are heats based on the number of runners, age groups and gender. The weekly series will last throughout July culminating in a championship on July 16 and 17.

The schedule starts with the 800-meter run at 6:30 p.m., followed by the 50-yard dash for runners ages 10 and under at 6:45.
