Tickets are on sale now for 'The Sound of Music'

Tickets are now on sale for Fayette Players and Community Theatre's summer production, "The Sound of Music." Themuch beloved story follows Maria, a postulant in a Salzburg Abbey, who is not fit for monastic life. She becoems a governess for the children of Captain Von Trapp, a widower who educates his children with military discipline. The children come to love Maria, as does the Captain, and together they fall in love. there are many hardships to overcome but they overcome them, as a family. "The Sound of Music" will be performed in the Willie Dukes Auditorium at Starr's Mill High School June 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29 and 30 and July 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children. Advance tickets are available at the Peachtree City and Fayetteville libraries now. For more information, phone 770-631-8568.
