PTC home surrounded by new church is rezoned for office use

A rezoning has been granted for the owners of a home on the corner of Robinson Road and Stagecoach Road that is being surrounded by a church campus.

The lot, which is less than an acre in size, was rezoned to office-institutional by the Peachtree City Council at its regular meeting last week.

The rezoning limited the future use of the property to either a business/professional office use or financial services businesses. Also, the access to the property will change from Old Stagecoach Road to Robinson Road opposite the existing driveway to Mowell Funeral Home.

Council is also requiring the site to be linked to the city sewer system unless the Planning Commission agrees it is not feasible to do so. If the developer is unhappy with the commission's decision, the matter may be appealed to the City Council.

Judy Bostick, who requested the rezoning, said she would abide by those requirements.
