Summer programs offered

Fulton County Department of Parks and Recreation's South Fulton Community Center is offering several programs to keep residents busy this summer and spend time with others.

A make-up party is set for Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. For $2, a licensed aesthetician and Mary Kay consultants will perform skin analyses andfacials and help patrons chose the best make-up combinations. Space is limited.

Girls drill team/Diamonds dance team practice begins May 11 for girls aged 10-17. Call for registration information.

A father/son jamboree is coming Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Events will include a basketball game, horseshoes, swimming and a cookout. Contact Rudolph Thomas.

An adult 3-3 basketball league begins June 17. Ten teams will play a 10-game schedule, and the top four will have a playoff. Registration is $90 per team. First, second, third place trophies willbe awarded, plus individual trophies for the league champions. Contact Rudolph Thomas or Lee Blitch.
