Trellis is featured speaker at builder meeting

The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia is presenting two programs by Al Trellis along with its May meeting.

The regular association meeting will be a luncheon from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16. The meeting place and location for the Trellis presentations will be Whitewater Country Club.

Trellis will present "The Builders Guide to Marketing Success" that morning as the program for the monthly association meeting. "The Pyramid of Excellence" seminar is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. that afternoon, and the cost is $25 for association members and $50 for nonmembers. Registration details can be obtained by calling the association office at 770-716-7109, and all registrations must be received at the office no later than Friday, May 10.

In the morning program, Trellis will focus on how to let potential buyers know about the builder and the product being provided. This talk is designed to help builders increase their profits by improving their marketing message and getting more impact from their marketing effort.

That afternoon, the emphasis at the seminar will be on topics including superior systems, professional people and continuous commitment, applying these foundations to such things as how to fulfill the needs and wants of the customer, the efficiency and effectiveness of the builder, and promoting the company and its products.

Trellis, a custom builder for over 15 years, is cofounder of the Home Builders Network and the author of seven books on home building. He is known for his innovative thinking and dedication to making a difference in the housing industry.

The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia serves builders in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Meriwether and Heard counties.
