First residents move into Deer Creek

Deer Creek, a new 44-home community in the city limits of Union City, already has its first residents.

Cheryl Barber, on-site sales agent for Brayson Homes, the builder in the community, said seven home sales have already been recorded and two of these homes are already occupied. Brayson Homes is a well known Atlanta area firm which is presently observing its silver anniversary.

Located on Lower Dixie Lake Rd., which runs off Hwy. 29 (Roosevelt Highway), Deer Creek is a sidewalk and streetlight community with homes priced from the $120,000s to the $150,000s. Most of the homes will be ranch designs, including two with basements, but split foyer plans will also be available.

Gwinnett-based Brayson Homes, which was founded in 1977, has produced over 6,000 new homes. The company is active in Gwinnett, DeKalb, Cobb, South Fulton and Coweta County markets and will soon be building in Clayton, Henry, Newton, Douglas and Paulding counties.

Brayson Homes is one of only a few of the 13,000 builders in the more than 20-year history of the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Program to receive the prestigious Diamond Builder award for quality construction and customer service. The company has earned awards in the prestigious Professionalism Competition sponsored by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and the Sales & Marketing Council.
