Wednesday, May 8, 2002 'Dream Home' contest underway Forrest Homes is joining with Atlanta radio station KISS 104.1 in presenting the Dream House IV with the Grand Prize winner becoming the owner of a new four-bedroom, two and one-half bath home. The home, located in the Swan Creek community in Union City, is valued at $142,750 and is courtesy of Forrest Homes. In addition to the home, the Grand Prize winner will be awarded one 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, valued at $26,080, from Nalley Chevrolet; groceries for a year, a $5,200 value, from Ingles; and one Nationwide Insurance policy valued at $500. Other sponsors, including South DeKalb Mall, AirTran, VoiceStream and Cabersham Financial, will be providing prizes during the promotion. "We're excited to be taking the major role in the Dream Home IV promotion," said Michael Adamson, who is President, owner and founder of Forrest Homes. "This is indeed an event which can change someone's life." The radio station's fourth Dream Home promotion kicked off March 30 at a remote broadcast at Swan Creek. Other remote broadcasts are upcoming, including ones at Swan Creek May 18, and June 1. The first entries were accepted April 1, and the winner will be determined at the event's finale June 1. Forrest Homes communities where Dream Home IV information and entry forms can be obtained include Autumn Ridge in Griffin, Lake Royale Estates in Jonesboro, Camden Forrest in Riverdale, Huntington Forrest in Palmetto, Swan Creek in Union City, Kendrick Forrest in Jonesboro, Trotter's Farm in Fairburn, Timber Ridge in Cartersville, and Holly Trace in Cherokee County, and Southfield in Lovejoy. KISS 104.1 will randomly select a minimum of one completed entry form each Monday through Friday during the promotion. The selected entrants will have their names announced live on the air, and each announced entrant will have 20 minutes to call the radio station at 404-741-0104. If an announced entrant does not call during the 20 minutes, that entrant will be disqualified and the process will be repeated until a winner is chosen. Each qualified winner, with the number not to exceed 160 winners, will receive $104 and a key which could unlock the door to the house. According to contest rules, entrants must be at least 21 years of age. The contest officially ends at 7 p.m. Friday, May 24. On Saturday, June 1, at a time still to be announced, all qualified winners must be present to win at a live KISS 104.1 remote broadcast at 4527 Swan Trace in the Swan Creek community in Union City. These qualified winners will randomly draw a number to determine the order in which they will attempt to insert their key to unlock the door to the house. The winner with the key that first unlocks the door will be declared the Grand Prize winner. Forrest Homes, which has its headquarters in Alpharetta and marketing offices in Jonesboro, is currently developing and building a number of communities throughout the Atlanta Metro area.
