Traffic signal work continues in Fayetteville

Fayetteville is continuing to fine-tune its new traffic signal interconnection, so some delays could be in store for commuters this week.

Construction on the projection has been completed, city officials said Monday, and the new timing plan will be input starting today and continuing through Friday. This could affect traffic on Ga. highways 54 and 85 and Stonewall Avenue.

"The city regrets any inconvenience experienced by the public during the transition period," city officials said in a written statement.
