Sandy Creek math team scores high The Sandy Creek math team participated in the 30th annual Math Day program at the State University of West Georgia in March. The testing part of the program involved an Algebra II, Geometry, Advanced Mathematics and Calculus test. Cash prizes were awarded to the students with the top three scores on each test. The Sandy Creek students who participated were Amanda Thomas, Daoxi Wang, Kristy Marquez, Beruke Zeleke, Crhis Wells, David Sandretto and Daona Wang. Sandretto, a freshman, finished second in Geometry and took home $20. Daoxi Wang, a senior, won $30 for placing first in Calculus. What do you think of this story?
