Fayetteville traffic signals adjusted next week Some slight traffic disruptions in Fayetteville next week should lead to improved traffic flow in the long run. Fayetteville officials announced at last week's City Council work session that motorists can expect disruptions next Tuesday, April 9, on Ga. highways 85 and 54 and Stonewall Avenue as several traffic signals are disconnected from old control cabinets and reconnected to new ones. This work is part of the city's traffic signal interconnection project, which will put all of the signals under a coordinated timing plan designed to provide more efficient traffic flow with fewer delays, officials said. "The city regrets any inconvenience experienced by the public during the transition period," a city press release stated. Monroe Roark
