Deputies collar suspect in four S. Fayette burglaries By JOHN

A Stone Mountain man suspected of burglarizing four homes in south Fayette County last week has been arrested by the Fayette County Sheriff's Department. Michael Lee Jefferson, 35, faces four counts of burglary, four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to warrants issued for his arrest, Jefferson entered four different homes Friday with the intent to commit theft. Jefferson took a laptop computer valued at $2,000 from one of the homes, warrants said. When deputies stopped Jefferson at the intersection of Ga. Highway 92 south and Antioch Road, he was found with two .38 caliber revolvers, according to warrants. The homes broken into were on Brooks-Woolsey Road, Hawn Road, Ponderosa Court and Harp Road.
