High-tech kitchen featured at Home Show

Atlanta Home Show's High Tech Kitchen features everything you need to make life in the kitchen more interesting, more convenient and more fun. The Atlanta Home Show displays the latest in kitchen technology from April 18-21 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

"The 21st century kitchen is the control center, gathering place and home management hub for the household," said JoAnn Vereen, Executive Director of the Atlanta Home Show. "In the Show model, we demonstrate the technology, appliances and kitchen design that revolutionizes the way we function and improves our quality of life."

Featured in the High Tech Kitchen are ultra modern Italian cabinets, the latest in stainless steel appliances, plus home security and management systems. Of particular interest is the new iCEBOX, a Web-enabled kitchen entertainment center that provides access to information, communication and entertainment by combining cable TV, Internet and email, DVD/Audio CD Player and home video monitoring all in one elegantly designed, space-efficient package.

The FlipScreen iCEBOX fits conveniently under a standard kitchen cabinet, is broadband-enabled and features an adjustable LCD monitor that flips up and out of the way when not in use. A washable, wireless keyboard and remote are included and built to withstand the rigors of the kitchen environment.

The iCEBOX is just one of many high tech appliances found in the busiest room of the house. To deliver information on the High Tech kitchen and tell you how to use it, an improv group from Atlanta's Laughing Matters promises to entertain as they demonstrate the exciting new products from Hewlett Packard, Digital Interiors, RCS and NINA Italian Design.
