Wal-Mart gives back to Fayette community The Fayette County Health Department would like to recognize the work of our local Wal-Mart in supporting this community. Their community manager, Michael Wagnon, is very active here and is always on the lookout for ways in which the company can be of assistance. The Physical Health section of the Health Department recently received a grant from Wal-Mart that will be used to purchase health education materials for our clients. Wagnon has also been instrumental in granting funds to the Safe Kids program, which teaches safety to children, and holds bicycle safety courses. In concert with law enforcement personnel Safe Kids also carries out carseat safety checks wherein worn or recalled child safety seats are replaced, and parents/caregivers are instructed on appropriate use and installation. Thank you, Wal-Mart and Mr. Michael Wagnon, for your commitment to community service. Fayette County Health Departmen
