The drivers are getting younger and younger in South Fulton County.

Newnan's Cody Smith decided to take his motorcycle for a spin in Palmetto a few Sundays ago.

The difference in Cody and many other bikers out on the weekend is his age Cody is only 18 months old.

Ken Carpenter, who is a friend of the Smith family, said young Cody is happiest when he's riding on his custom built bike.

The bike can go only three miles an hour, so there's no danger of injury, and he is supervised all the time, Carpenter said.

The Carpenters and Smiths are active members of the Ramah Baptist Church in Palmetto, and Cody usually does most of his riding on his dad's property in northern Coweta County.

But on a recent Sunday after church, he decided to take a little spin in Palmetto.

The young driver was "pulled over" by Palmetto Police Officer Alana Robinson, who was so captivated by the youngster that he gave him a complimentary coloring book.
