Want to be a Girl Scout leader?

Girl Scouts are looking for a few good leaders men or women.

An orientation for new Girl Scout leaders is planned for Thursday, March 14, 9 a.m. to noon at Providence United Methodist Church, 592 Bernhard Road, Fayetteville.

Adults considering becoming leaders, taking over an existing troop or starting a new one, now or anytime in the future are invited, along with anyone interested in helping with a troop.

Another session for those interested in working with Brownie troops (ages 6 - 8, grades one to three) is set for Tuesday, March 26, 9 a.m. to noon, also at Providence.

Feel free to bring food or drinks. Coffee probably will be available. Dress casually. If you have them, bring Safety Wise, Rainbow of Resources or Age Level Handbook.
