More poll workers needed Fulton County Registration and Elections needs about 67 more poll workers for the Tuesday, March 19 Atlanta and Fulton County boards of education special sales tax referendum and the city of Mountain Park special election. The greatest shortages are in North Fulton, Roswell, Sandy Spring and South Fulton. Poll workers must be county residents, at least 16 years old, must be able to read, write and speak English, and must attend a training class. Election day begins at 6:30 a.m. and ends about 8:30 p.m. A clerk earns $100, an assistant manager earns $120, an ambassador earns $120, and a chief manager earns $190.
