Backyard Association meets March 12

Celebrate gardening with the masters.

The Backyard Association will feature a panel of Master Gardeners in lieu of State Master Gardener Day celebrated in March. Master Gardeners have been selected to provide the Backyard Association with tips on some of their favorite garden topics, including growing the "perfect" lawn, organic gardening, peonies and irises, and more. Discussion will be open to questions and answers and participants are assured to have an entertaining evening with the Coweta County Master Gardeners. This is your chance to ask what you want and need to know about gardening from some of Coweta County's best gardeners.

The Backyard Association, sponsored by Coweta County Extension Service, is open to the public and meets at 7 pm the second Tuesday evening of each month except December. Reservations are required and admission is free. The sessions are held at the Coweta County Extension Service, 21 East Washington Street in Newnan. For more information, contact 770-254-2620.
