Hustle for Hospice to run May 4

The ninth annual Hustle for Hospice, to benefit Southwest Christian Hospice and Hope House, is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, at the hospice at 7225 Lester Road in Union City.

The 5K run will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a 5K walk and Senior Stroll at 8:35. The Kids Fun Run starts at 9:30, followed by the Tot Trot at 9:45.

Early registration is $15. Late registration through race day is $20.

There will be cash prizes, a Team Participation Award, ribbons for all tots, a free drawing, babysitters during 5K run and walk, and much, much more.

Proceeds from the Hustle for Hospice will go directly toward underwriting the overall operating budget of the Hospice and Hope House. All gifts to the hospice ministry are tax deductible. "Your generosity supports the continuation of our special way of caring," said operations manager Lisa Bomar.
