Nominations sought for small business award

The South Fulton Rotary Club is seeking nominations for its 2002 Small Business of the Year Award.

The selection committee will review all applications received prior to the deadline, Feb. 21. The Small Business of the Year Award will be announced and honored at the South Fulton Rotary Club luncheon March 7.

To qualify for the award, the business must:

Have been in business for at least three years;

Project a positive image and adhere to strict business ethics;

Have 50 or fewer employees.

The selection committee will be judging the applications based on the following criteria:

Customer satisfaction, awards, industry recognition;

Involvement in the community;

Innovation and creativity in the operation of the business;

Professionalism of entry.

Applications may be picked up at the South Fulton Rotary Club Shannon Parkway, Union City.

Entries should be typed or neatly printed.
