PTC Police want to return missing, stolen bicycles

The Peachtree City Police Department wants to hear from anyone looking for a lost or stolen bicycle that has been missing in the past year.

The department hopes to return a number of unclaimed bicycles currently in its possession. To facilitate this, the department is inviting those with missing bicycles to attend an event Saturday, Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the department's location at 350 Ga. Highway 74 South (across from Gill-Roy's Got It).

Persons wishing to recover a missing bike must have information such as manufacturer, model, color, serial number (if known) or any other identifying marks. Anyone wishing to recover their bicycle before the event should call Sgt. Mike Rogers at 770-487-8866.
