Bricks placed at All Children's Playground

The first set of engraved bricks has been laid at the All Children's Playground in Peachtree City.

The bricks are being sold for $35 each, with discounts for multiple purchases, to help fund the second phase of the playground. The project was undertaken so children with disabilities can play alongside other children.

About 200 bricks have been installed inside the fence at the playground, which is located at Picnic Park behind City Hall. Playground Committee Chairperson Colleen Sugar hopes to have another 200 bricks ready this Spring when construction begins on the second phase of the playground.

"The gifts make a great gift idea for grandparents, for teachers or as a Valentine's Day present," Sugar said.

Bricks are being sold for $35 each for one, $30 each for two or three and $25 each for four or more.

To purchase a brick, contact Sugar at 770-486-3772 or for more information, contact the Peachtree City Recreation Department at 770-631-2542.
