Two new principals picked for next year The Coweta County Board of Education approved two new principals for the 2002-2003 school year, at last week's board meeting. Charles Smith, currently the principal at Arnall Middle School, will become the principal of the new elementary school on Willis Road. The elementary school - Coweta's 16th - will open in August 2002. Smith is a 10-year educator, and has also served as an assistant principal at East Coweta High School and an assistant principal at Riverside Middle School in Columbia County. Marc Guy, currently the director of human resources for the Coweta County School System, will become the principal of Arnall Middle School. Guy is a nine-year educator, teaching in both the Coweta County and Clarke County school systems, and has also served as an assistant principal at Northgate High School and Madras Middle School.
