Seedlings available The Georgia Forestry Commission continues to accept orders for seedlings to be planted this winter. Seedling application forms are available at all commission offices. To be assured of the seedlings you want, order early. Seedlings are sold bare-root. Pine species come in packages of 50, 500 and 1,000. Currently available are improved loblolly, longleaf and Virginia pine. Hardwood species come in packages of 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 and include bald cypress, dogwood, crape myrtle, red cedar, sawtooth oak, swamp chestnut oak, water oak and white oak.
