Wednesday, January 9, 2002 Builders meeting to cover environmental issues The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia will have a program on "Building Green! - Energy and Environmental Advances in Housing Construction" at its January meeting. The luncheon meeting, scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 17, will be held at The Barn in Tyrone. There will be a demonstration and presentation by Steve Iwinski, environmental scientist for Applied Polymer Systems Inc. Speaking on "Improved Performance, Cost Reduction and Environmental Risk Management," Iwinski will cover such subjects as storm water, erosion control, and pond and lake clarification. Sponsoring the luncheon is Brent Scarbrough & Co.
