Wednesday, January 9, 2002 Association names new executive officer Sandra (Sandy) Baldauf-Boda assumed the position of executive officer of the Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia, effective Dec. 10. In 1985, Ms. Baldauf-Boda founded Gold Management, which provided a variety of services for local businesses and which in 1989 became the first executive answering service in Fayette County. At the same time, she was co-owner of Business Support Network, which served as the executive suïte manager for a 14,000 sq. ft. office building in Peachtree City. Since that time, she has served as general manager of Gym Xpress and executive assistant with Steve Dale Motorsports. While most of her experience has been in executive management, she worked in the building industry in the early 1980s, and she said the industry has always held an attraction for her and she is excited to be working in it again. A native of Ohio, Ms. Baldauf-Boda has been a resident of Fayette County since 1978. She is a member of Christ our Shepherd Lutheran Church and has been active in the Chamber of Commerce and served on the board of directors of the Fayette Youth Protection home. She is a 1993 graduate of Leadership Fayette. She lives in Peachtree City with her husband Steve. The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia, which serves builders in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Heard and Meriwether counties, currently has around 461 members.
