Early deadlines for the holidays So that employees of The Citizen newspapers may enjoy the Christmas and New Year holidays, early deadlines are in effect for newspapers published this week and next. The newspaper offices will be closed Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and Christmas Day, Dec. 25, New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, and New Year's Day, Jan. 1. The deadline for press releases to be included in the Dec. 26 edition is Friday, Dec. 21. Standard deadlines are in effect for the South Fulton Citizen, Peachtree Citizen Review, Coweta Citizen Review and Sunday Citizen. For the Wednesday, Jan. 2 edition, the deadline is Friday, Dec. 28, with standard deadlines for the Friday and Sunday editions.
