PTC man charged with giving alcohol to minors at party

A Peachtree City man faces criminal charges for providing alcohol to minors during a party at Gables Court Apartments Friday, Nov. 30.

Ray Jay Koleck, 33, has been charged with five counts of furninshing alcohol to a minor. According to warrants for his arrest, Koleck, who lives at the complex, brought alcohol to a party at another apartment.

Each charge relates to a specific person police allege ingested the alcohol Koleck bought, which included Golden Grain liquor, police indicated in the warrants.

This is not the first time an adult has been charged with furnishing alcohol to a party with teenagers in Peachtree City. In September of last year, a local woman was arrested for maintaining a disorderly house when police broke up a party at her Planceer Place residence when several underage teens were found to be intoxicated.

Ann Eggert Payne, 53, was charged with maintaining a disorderly house and interfering with a police officer. She was sentenced to a $250 fine and the judge agreed to suspend a 30-day jail sentence on the charge of maintaining a disorderly house. The charge of resisting a police officer was dismissed.
