New real estate faces

Four new real estate professional have joined the team at The Home Source Realtors General Brokerage office in Peachtree City.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee with experience in marketing and human resources, Melinda Belote is skilled at teaming with clients relocating to Peachtree City or elsewhere in Fayette and Coweta counties. She and her two children are residents of Peachtree City, where she is a school volunteer and tutors elementary students.

Shannon Scott has been active in real estate since 1997 and has been a licensed Realtor since 1999. Having attended Clayton College & State University, she has more than a decade of experience in customer service. She lives with her husband and three children in Newnan.

Bill Murphy is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with an MBA in marketing. He joins The Home Source Realtors following a career of almost 30 years with the Ford Motor Company. He and his wife are eight-year residents of Peachtree City and have two grown children.

With extensive personal relocation experience living and working throughout the United States, Germany and Japan, Carol Dye is accomplished at helping home buyers or sellers moving to or from Fayette or Coweta. A native of New York and a graduate of Monroe Community College, she lives with her husband and daughter in Fayetteville.

All of the above four are members of the Fayette County Board of Realtors.

HomeBanc Mortgage Corporation has hired Travis Cassell as a mortgage banker for the company's Peachtree City office.

In this position, he will join four other mortgage bankers in that office to provide services to residential borrowers. A resident of Sharpsburg, he joins HomeBanc with more than three years of real estate experience.

Three new mortgage bankers have been named by HomeBanc to work at the company's Stockbridge office, which primarily serves Clayton, Henry and south Fulton counties.

Mark Groce has been with HomeBanc for more than a year and previously worked in the company's information technology department. He will focus his efforts on building business for HomeBanc in Atlanta's south metro counties. He lives in Hampton.

Earl Carter has more than ten years experience in sales and has won several sales awards. A Jonesboro resident, he plans on focusing his efforts on building HomeBanc's mortgage business in Jonesboro and the surrounding towns and neighboring counties.

Lanny Arrington will focus his efforts on various locations throughout the south side of Atlanta and also hopes to gain business through HomeBanc's growing Internet mortgage lending operation. He lives in McDonough.

Vincent Truong is a new sales associate with the Newnan/Coweta County office of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty.

Truong, who has been one of the owners and managers of The Dynasty Restaurant & Bakery, located on Bullsboro Drive in Newnan, since 1986, is a 15-year resident of Newnan, and he said he "really enjoys the Southern hospitality." He also enjoys public service and meeting people.

A member of the Newnan/Coweta County Board of Realtors, completed his pre-licensing course at Barney Fletcher Real Estate school, and he will be taking the Coldwell Banker "Fast Track" training program.

Truong, who speaks English, Chinese and French, is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in architecture, and he specializes in restaurant design and residential homes.

His wife, Jacqueline Truong, has also joined the staff of Bullard's Newnan/Coweta County office.

A sales associate, she received her training through the Barney Fletcher Real Estate School, and she will be taking the Coldwell Banker "Fast Track" training classes. She is a member of the Newnan/Coweta County Board of Realtors.

Mrs. Truong, who speaks English, Chinese, French, Laotian and Thai, holds a bachelor's degree in business from a school in Paris, France, She said she enjoys working with people, and her hobbies include cooking Chinese and French food and baking.

The Truongs live in Newnan with their three children twin sons Oliver and Andy, 5; and daughter Prescillia, 4.
