Celebrating the season with the whole family

Our family gets together every year to celebrate Christmas at my grandparents house. We each bring a food tray and presents for each other. Every year my Mom, Elissa, brings an ornament for every family member. The presents are neatly placed under their small Christmas tree. Then everybody helps preparing dinner.

We all gather and hold hands for prayer. After prayer, we eat and fellowship with each other. After we eat, all the kids, my cousins and my brothers and sisters, play the "quiet" game to see who gets to open the first presents. As usual I always win. The parents come into the den. My grandfather, Paw-Paw, pretends to be Santa Claus and passes the presents around. One by one we all open them. After all the Aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents are all done opening the presents, we all go to our individual homes to celebrate Christmas Day.
