Southland plants 'Give-a-Gift' tree

Southland Nursing Home is helping its residents celebrate Christmas with a "Give-a-Gift" Christmas tree. Friends, family and members of the public are invited to participate in the Christmas program.

The "stocking" tree is at the main nurses station at Southland. Stockings with the names of residents and gift suggestions and clothing sizes are hanging on the tree. Those choosing to share their Christmas abundance with a nursing home resident may stop by and choose a stocking or call the nursing home at 770-631-9000.

Southland is asking that all gifts be wrapped and delivered to the Activity Department no later than Friday, Dec. 14. Southland is at 151 Wisdom Road in Peachtree City. For more information call Angie Brown or Debbie Azzarelli in the Activity Department, 770-631-9000.
