Addition eliminates trailers at Whitewater Middle Students and teachers at Whitewater Middle School no longer have to attend classes in trailers now that a new 26,589-sq. ft. addition is complete. The addition, which spans each grade level hallway, added 18 classrooms to the school and has the capacity to hold 238 people. The new wing also includes three science labs and conference rooms, one room for each grade level team. The addition was designed by DWB Architects Inc. and built by Meja Construction Inc. "We are just thrilled to have this addition complete. Every teacher and student now has a classroom. I want to take this opportunity to thank the board of education for making all of this possible," said Principal Sandra Kidd during a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony commemorating the opening of the wing.
