Police Blotter

The following arrests were reported by the Peachtree City Police Department for the past week:

Alejandro Severo, 24, of Norcross Nov. 9 for driving without a license, following too close to another vehicle and operating an unregistered vehicle.

Richard Mereus, 25, of Peachtree City Nov. 11 for driving with a suspended license and speeding.

Michael Brantley, 23, of Peachtree City Nov. 13 for violation of probation.

Jillian Berryman, 24, of Athens Nov. 13 for driving with a suspended license.

Shannon Riggs, 20, of Palmetto Nov. 14 for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).

Sam Ferguson, 22, of Riverdale Nov. 14 for violation of probation.

Kyle Darsey, 19, of Fairburn Nov. 14 for violation of probation.

Michael Otero, 18, of Peachtree City Nov. 14 for violation of probation.

Jason Cassel, 26, of Sharpsburg Nov. 14 for DUI, possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), possession of an open container of alcohol and failure to maintain lane.

Sallie Thompson, 49, of Peachtree City Nov. 14 for DUI and failure to maintain lane.

Jose Angel, 43, of Palmetto Nov. 14 for forgery in the second degree and operation of an unregistered vehicle.

James Klingler, 37, of Peachtree City Nov. 14 for simple battery and cruelty to children (second degree).

Clayton Hassell, 38, of Newnan Nov. 16 for DUI, driving with a suspended license, possession of an open container of alcohol and failure to maintain lane.

Jeanine Zinck, 37, of Peachtree City Nov. 18 for criminal trespassing.

Karl Wertz, 37, of Smyrna Nov. 18 for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).

Leann Maxwell, 43, of Fayetteville, Nov. 18 for driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving with an expired tag.

Police are also investigating a burglary at 8 Eastbrook Bend on Tuesday Nov. 13 when suspects forced their way into the store. Other stores in the area were also damaged.
