Spell earns ABR designation

Jan Spell of The Home Source Realtors General Brokerage office in Peachtree City has earned the Accredited Buyer Representation designation following a comprehensive two-day course in buyer representation, a written exam on legal and practical aspects of client representation, and practical experience in the field of buyer representation.

The award was presented by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council, Inc., of the National Association of Realtors.

Spell, a resident of Peachtree City for more than 20 years, also holds the GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute), CSP (Certified Sales Professional) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations. An active life member of the Million Dollar Club, her gross volume of closed sales for 2000 totalled more than 10 million dollars.

"Our real estate professionals take pride in providing the most up-to-date service to our home buyers and sellers. Advanced education in the rapidly changing real estate field is a priority at The Home Source Realtors," said Tutt Larsen, the company's executive vice president and qualifying broker.

"The ABR designation demonstrates to clients that Jan has taken steps to continue her education in the field of buyer representation, and has the proven experience to deliver ethical and professional service to real estate buyers," said Terrence McDermott, president and chief executive officer of REBAC.
