Townhomes coming to SummerGrove

As SummerGrove surpasses its 500th home sale, Pathway Communities, the developer of SummerGrove, is making a move that will lead to even more success for the Newnan master-planned community.

Pathway Communities is pleased to announce the addition of upscale townhomes in the SummerGrove neighborhood of Eastlake.

Bordering 100-acre Lake SummerGrove, the 120 townhomes have been dubbed Eastlake Townhomes at SummerGrove. The townhomes will range in price from the $130s to the $170s. Floor plans will include both ranch and two-story units ranging from 1,450 to 1,720 square feet. All townhomes will have three bedrooms and attached, two-car garages. Many will feature daylight basements, garden courtyards and lake views.

Pathway Communities has tapped award-winning Hyland Developers to spearhead the construction of the townhomes. According to Hyland, construction is slated to begin December 2001.

Dan Camp, vice president and general manager of Pathway Communities, believes the addition of the townhomes will create an even stronger presence for SummerGrove in the Atlanta area market.

"Based upon our research, we are finding a need for townhomes not only in Newnan, but the entire Atlanta area," says Camp. "Many people are looking for a low-maintenance lifestyle in an amenity-loaded setting, and the townhomes at SummerGrove will provide that product to a relatively untapped market."

SummerGrove's amenity package plays an important role in distinguishing the community from other Atlanta area neighborhoods.

SummerGrove has an 18-hole, Golf Digest-ranked golf course, a 100-acre private lake, over five miles of pedestrian paths and sidewalks, a competition-size swimming pool and clubhouse, eight tennis courts and a variety of tot lots and neighborhood playgrounds. A second pool and amenity area will be located in close proximity to the townhomes.

SummerGrove also offers a unique technology program for every home. The program includes structured wiring, the potential for ultra-fast Internet access and an exclusive community Intranet built specially for the residents of SummerGrove.

SummerGrove's uniqueness spans more than amenities and technology. SummerGrove is the only Atlanta-area master-planned community with 13 decorated models. Home styles in SummerGrove range from traditional to turn-of-the-century to custom and are priced from the mid $100s to over $600,000.

To visit SummerGrove from Atlanta, take I-85 South to Exit 47 (Newnan). Go left on Hwy. 34 one mile, and turn right on Shenandoah Blvd. SummerGrove is located at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd. The Information Center is open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m and Sunday 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
