Want to be a writer? Here's a book for you Author Peter Bowerman will sign and discuss his book, "The Well Fed Writer," at Barnes and Noble in Fayetteville Saturday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. According to publicists, the book provides information about freelance commercial writing for aspiring writers, career-changers, at-home moms, journalists, staff writers or anyone interested in boosting their income. After a 15-year career in sales and marketing, Bowerman turned his sights to freelance commercial writing. With no industry experience, no previous paid writing experience and no writing background, he built a freelance writing business from fantasy to full-time in less than four months. He has had nearly 200 of his editorials published and currently leads seminars on writing.
