Fund established to help family of train crash victim By JOHN
MUNFORD
Two funds have been established to assist the family of the Tyrone boy who died after a minivan collided with a train there last week. The Tyler Whitfield Memorial Fund at Peachtree National Bank and the Tyler Douglas Whitfield Fund at Regions Bank in Peachtree City will be used to defray the funeral costs and other expenses for the family. Collection jars have been established in businesses in Tyrone, Peachtree City and Coweta County. Amy Moore, who helped establish the funds, said she has been pleased with the response from local businesses contributing to help out the Whitfield family.
