Drivers urged not to block Hwy. 54/74 intersection By JOHN MUNFORD jmunford@TheCitizenNews.com Motorists are being cautioned by police not to block the intersection of Ga. Highways 54 and 74, particularly during rush hour. Police said such actions create a hazardous situation for other motorists, and it is illegal to block an intersection. Police have said this law "will be strictly enforced." The blockages typically occur when a motorist is turning onto another throughfare and misjudges the backup of traffic currently on that road.
