Cash missing from burglarized medical offices in Fayetteville

Some Fayetteville medical offices on Ga. Highway 54 west were targeted in several burglaries between Oct. 26-29.

A witness discovered the burglaries, noting cash missing from each office, according to reports filed by the Fayetteville Police Department. The burglaries were reported at Southern Crescent Womens Healthcare, Atlanta Plastic Surgery, Atlanta Cardiology Group and Fayette Area Dermatology.

Those business are located together in the same office complex.

In each case, between $105 and $180 in cash was taken, according to the reports. The burglar may have entered through a window, one report indicated.

Another burglary was reported at Center IMT on Lanier Avenue during the same time period. But the report indicated nothing was taken.

Lt. Tom Kirkbride said detectives are still actively working the investigation.
