Elections set next week By JOHN
THOMPSON Voters will head to the polls in South Fulton County next week with all three cities conducting municipal elections. This election season has been relatively quiet with no forums scheduled and few signs scattered throughout the region. In Fairburn, Mayor Betty Hannah faces opposition from Michael Johnson and Roger Bussell. The city also will conduct council elections. Three positions will be filled from a slate of three incumbents: Roy Farr, Glenn Higgins and Doug Crawford, and political newcomer Marion Johnson. In Union City, Mayor Ralph Moore faces opposition from Larry Waits. Incumbent councilmen Barbara Bohannon and Shirley Jackson qualified to run for their seats, along with Roger Dukes and Milton Foster. In Palmetto, incumbent councilmen Bill Burnham, John Farr and James Harber face opposition from Bonnie Holmes and Willie Reese. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m..
