The East Coweta High School Marching Indians will have a yard sale and pancake breakfast Nov. 10 at East Coweta High School.

Both the yard sale and the pancake breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. Tickets for breakfast are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12 and may be purchased early from any band student. Breakfast will be served until 10 a.m.

The Marching Indians are raising money for their trip to this year's Citrus Bowl parade in Orlando.

They leave Sharpsburg Dec. 26 and return New Year's Day, and will visit Universal's Island of Adventure, Animal Kingdom, MGM Studios, Planet Hollywood, and the Magic Kingdom. They will march in the Citrus Bowl Parade Dec. 29 and lead the Magic Lights parade in the Magic Kingdom.

The students have been working hard since July to perfect their performance of this year's show, which contains music from the movie "Atlantis."

Having attended three competitions in October, the students will continue to perform at football games.

Students have been collecting items for the yard sale for some time now and organizers of the sale say you don't want to miss out.

For information phone Cheryl Birchfield at 770-304-9364 or the band room at ECHS.
