Kedron Estates hosts Open House

Kedron Estates in Peachtree City was the setting for a Realtors Open House Oct. 3, as visiting Realtors toured new homes by Kenny Johnson and Richard Simms, the two builders in the community.

Connie Dyer of The Home Source Realtors, who is the exclusive marketing agent for Kedron Estates, said that the community, which is tied into the Peachtree City cart path system, will have 28 homes with prices starting in the low $400,000s. Eight of the homes are already sold or under contract.

The homes are situated on one-acre plus wooded homesites and offer a long list of special features, including (according to plan) full basements, three-car garages, recreation rooms and large master suites.

Kedron Estates can be reached by entering the Kedron Hills subdivision from Peachtree Parkway North and traveling on Loring Lane, then turning left on Astoria Dr. The sales center is on the right at the beginning of the Kedron Estates community.

More information about the community can be obtained by calling 770-631-0240.

The builders in Kedron Estates are among the best known and respected home builders in the metro area.

Kenny Johnson, owner of Kenny Johnson Homes, has three decades of experience, and he said he emphasizes quality, comfort and value to build homes featuring uniquely beautiful function and design, as well as durable construction. Johnson has twice been named Builder of the Year for the Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia and has served as the group's president.

Richard Simms, who founded Richard Simms Homes in 1985, said his goal is to provide a high level of quality and personal service in the custom home building process. Simms is also a past president of the Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia, and he has been Builder of the Year for bothPeachtree City and the Midwest Georgia home builders association.
